Who we are

Shopvilo (“we”, “us”) runs this independent affiliate product discovery website. You don't need an account to use it.

What we collect

• Anonymous usage counts. When you open a product page or tap a Shop button we record the product, the page path, the approximate platform you came from (for example Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, Google or direct) and the time.
• A short-lived, non-reversible hash. To ignore accidental repeat taps we store a salted hash that changes every day. It is built from technical request details, can't be turned back into your IP address or device, and is not used to follow you from one day to the next.
• No accounts, names, emails, phone numbers or payment details are collected from visitors.

Cookies and local storage

We don't set advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser may store (a) your light/dark theme choice and (b) a one-word label for where this visit started, kept only for the current browser session so a tap can be credited to the right platform. Neither identifies you.

Other websites

When you tap a Shop button you leave our site for the retailer (Meesho). The retailer and its affiliate partners may use cookies or similar technology to recognise that you came from us, and they have their own privacy policies that we don't control. The same applies to our Instagram and Facebook profiles.

Service providers

The site is hosted on Cloudflare and uses Supabase for its database and image storage. These providers process requests on our behalf, including technical data such as IP addresses, under their own terms and security practices.

How we use the data

• To keep the site running, secure and fast.
• To understand which products and Reels people find useful.
• We do not sell personal data.

How long we keep it

Aggregate usage records are kept for as long as they are useful for understanding trends, and can be deleted on request.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Your choices

You can browse without any account, block cookies and storage in your browser settings, or use a browser with tracking protection. To ask a question about your data or request deletion of anything that could be linked to you, message us through our contact page. We aim to handle personal data in line with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do.
